When you hear the words ‘Annandale Hotel', does your mind cough up a blurry montage of beer-fuelled, adrenalin-charged nights and someone losing a shoe? We'd sort of hope it does because then you're geared to handle this one. Sydney's Under Lights thrash out solid alternative rock power chords buoyed by Jack Friel's gravelly vocals; the sort that's bound to get people on their feet and then stumbling over them again.

Why are the French so damn good at everything? We don't know. It was meant to be rhetorical. Ah rhetoric. Yet another thing they've got down.
