Pssst! Amigo! Want to tell a good Spanish restaurant from a crappy one? Look up. Now count the hunks of cured meat hanging from the ceiling. Sure, a few lend an air of authenticity, but you know you're in for a treat when you walk into DELICADO - Spanish providore, restaurant and wine bar - and discover the roof is a riot of dangling chillis, retro flamenco posters, dusty wine bottles and ripening Jamón Iberico.

The menu is an equally colourful mash of traditional tapas (garlic prawns, tortilla Spanish omelette) and gourmet delights (Spanish mackerel ceviche, Glenloth chicken breast with chorizo mousse). But the real delicacy here is the booze: hundreds of exquisite Spanish and South American boutique wines hand-picked by owner and sommelier Ben Moechtar. Pair this with the restaurant's exceptional olives menu ("Arbequina: petite, small and spherical; nutty, aromatic, slightly bitter finish") and you've got a night of fun that rivals that family trip to El Caballo Blanco. Olé!
