So, the green tea-is-fashionable phase has long passed, I know, but that is no reason to lose interest in the product itself. (Besides, "it's so passé, it's probably retro - and retro is always cool"). What's even cooler is how good it is for you - packed full with antioxidants to fight cancer, help slimming, make your skin glow and cleanse your entire system. With summer coming up, chilled green tea is totally the detox drink of choice.

As a devotee of the green stuff (tea that is) for many years, I've tried and tested almost every brand there is. While some natural leaf green teas are delicious, the best affordable, supermarket-available brand is by far 'Madura'.

It's great for a number of reasons - it tastes good (not bitter and undrinkable like other brands); it doesn't have any nasty additives (green tea with vanilla? eek); and it's grown locally in Northern NSW using sustainable farming practices. (If you're a massive tea-keeno, you can even visit their estate!)

Best part is - in my easily-impressed opinion - the cute little cardboard packaging inside the box. Hidden underneath the teabags it a lovely little story about the history of Madura, and on the other side, a convenient "Things to Do List" with two points already prepared for you:
