I love a good good, despite my recent appetite for minimalism.

Ganapati Home and Gifts is a little like watching Fantastic Planet by Rene Laloux. As you waltz through the seemingly still landscape, the textures catapult you into ataxia - a vivid blizzard of cable knits, silk and smoke.

They also specialise in flannel ponchos, dine-on-the-floor rugs, silver goblets, mood lighting and scents commonly found in ashrams, Nepalese Lawudo mountain retreats and heaven.

We don't often have the luxury of a daily mango lassi or an aruvedic depressurisation massage performed by a local feather-weight hanging from the ceiling. We do, however, have access to the result of meditative crafts like knitting, weaving and sculpture. Cocoon yourself in silk and wool and meditate. Alternatively, don't - just think once of the purifying process and enjoy the by-product at dangerously small prices.
