If Chris Knight and Yahoo Serious can duke it out over who was the Einstein of the '80s - I'm pretty sure King Khan can be The Supreme Genius for right now. A quick google search will lead you to the wiki-facts that most geniuses are known for being promiscuous, thrill seeking and generally strapped for cash. I don't know about the last one but I think the first two fit pretty well on King Khan. Not much less than you'd expect from the descendant of the Johnny Thunders (of sitar) and a practising (musical) witch doctor who devoted his life to bringing garage rock back from the dead. Supreme Genius chronicles King Khan's journey over the last 10 years from Montreal to Berlin to the moon and back again.

Since most people had never hard of King Khan before last year this convenient best-of fast tracks the catch up. King Khan combine the best of Motown, Stax and Nuggets-era bands and he does it all in the same goddamn song too. I guess thats why he's not only a genius but a King as well.
