The fool who said two wrongs don't make a right obviously ain't never seen The Thing with Two Heads. Take two seriously unfunny things, such as racism and irreversible medical mistakes. Combine them. Add a bitchin' bongo rock soundtrack. Shake and bake and there you have cult comedy genius.
Like many dying rich people, the bigoted white protagonist has arranged to have his head transplanted on another body before he shuffles off.

Description:
It began as an exercise in rhythmic primitivism. A clan of non-musicians making sounds with a three chord limit on each song. But the psychedelic stylings of San Fran's Wooden Shjips have turned out to be the metaphorical opposable-thumbs that allowed them to evolve. Now they bring their dancing drone from the bay city to the harbour city, and specifically, the Annandale.

Proving everything old is new again, the good old Annandale rolls out Grant Hart - former drummer, singer and co-songwriter from umlaut-loving 80s outfit Hüsker Dü. For his latest solo release, Hot Wax, Hart hooked up with noisemakers Godspeed You Black Emperor and Silver Mt.

A cafe breakfast is kinda like a foster mother. We give them our tired and sleep-deprived, our hungover, and hungry masses. And we need to be nursed, cajoled, bullied and fed, then weaned off the soy flatties to be reborn into the world. This is how I managed to sit at Clover on a Sunday morning, waiting for breakfast for forty minutes before realising we hadn't actually ordered yet.

Here at TwoThousand, we realise that impartial journalism is a bit twentieth century. That's why I can promote the launch of Cuthbert and the Night Walkers' new LP, Mr Pickwick's Camera, despite my friendship with the aforementioned Cuthbert (Hey Richie). Luckily, the band is genuinely good and thus my credibility remains.
