TIM SWEENEY SET FROM NOISE IN MY HEAD, COURTESY OF NOWNOW
Tim Sweeney is one floppy-fringed brainiac from New York City that brings joy to people worldwide. He's been trawling record collections and spinning up mixes that have been erupting dance floors for years - and for most of those years he's been underage, armed with nothing but a fake ID, a whole lot of knowledge in Ninja Tune and a little teen-beard sprout.

The adage everything old becomes new again holds on this mind-blowing compilation of 'rare European library grooves' courtesy of Munich's Permanent Vacation label. Compiled by the enigmatically named Alexis Le-Tran and Jess, SPACE ODDITIES takes in 19 super-obscure cuts from subscriber-only library music albums used to score European film and TV productions from 1975 to 1984.

HE CO-WROTE AND PRODUCED TWO SONGS ON THE LATEST KYLIE ALBUM (SUCK THAT ELTON). HE ALSO RE-WORKED A WICKED MIX OF CSS'S 'LET'S MAKE LOVE AND LISTEN TO DEATH FROM ABOVE'.

Let's face it - despite the consciousness-raising, spiritual, communal sense of enlightenment and massive endorphin rush they inspire, drum circles suck.
Toronto's HOLY FUCK don't wear ponchos or play hacky-sack, but they do kick out some tribal motherfucking jams. And instead using bongos or pan flutes, they employ old Casio keyboards and lo-fi drum machines mixed with live bass, guitar, and noise.
After numerous 7 inches and remix appearances, Ed Banger Records boss Busy P has delivered his debut solo 12". On this EP you'll find three equally awesome tracks. ‘Chop Suey’ is pure ghetto tech compressed and cut up, and the title song ‘Rainbow Man’ provides the perfect wobbling tune for any trans-dimensional disco missions.
