It's cultured, has a definite entourage (40,000+ were in attendance last year), humanitarian (50% of profits are heading to a charity), and not in the least bit snobbish. We'd even say it would enjoy a cheeky pre-noon beer in the park with you. Yep, it's Earthdance, back again, and after a successful fundraiser back in August, all you need is a gold coin donation to enjoy everything that this year's festival has to offer.

Unless you plan on being a moocher or emulating the Dire Straits classic, you can't get something for nothing. While EARTHDANCE 2008 is fast approaching - bringing DJs, bands and markets to Prince Alfred Park with free entry - they need some help raising the funds to do so. So what do we have to do? Not exactly playing the charity card, organisers are putting on a fundraiser this Saturday night, where you get to listen to the 32 odd DJs there for the money it would take to get a medium pizza and a coke.
