Where else but the Sydney Underground Film Festival (SUFF) can you see a man obsess over a half-woman-half-eel; get close to Bin Laden's Mountain caves, or experience 1980s smell-o-vision while cradling a warm bucket of popcorn? The SUFF opening night kicks off with George Gittoes' THE MISCREANTS, which takes us deep into the heart of a 'forbidden zone' (aka The Middle East).
