This album is just too good. Trying to write about it has been nearly impossible, because it's amazing and obviously I can't say that more than the two times already. It is an unreleased solo acoustic show, has hilarious side stories from Young's past, and gives the best mental image of the second biggest musical stoner the world has known.
Delta Spirit - Ode To Sunshine
These San Diegans (that just doesn't sound right) have something to their sound that makes it instantly recognisable. Maybe the harmonica, maybe the effects on the vocals and guitar, maybe the country rock folk feel to it... or maybe it's just the equation that bands have been using forever to make themselves familiar; and the Delta Spirit stumbled onto the secret recipe.
Un Dia, Juana Molina
Actors-as-musicians generally range from the forgettable mediocre (Keanu Reeves' Dogstar) to the outright atrocious (Paris Hilton's 'Stars are blind') and the utterly laughable (William Shatner...).
Anyone who's heard South American TV star Juana Molina's music can attest; this ain't some vanity project.

Superheroes can come in a variety of forms. There are the goofy, unassuming ones who get bullied at school but scale the walls of dank alleyways by night. There are those with all the power and riches of the world but who skulk city streets looking for vengeance. There are ones who fell into some sort of chemical disaster and must deal with being green, or transforming into a mutant animal.
