As these summer months drift by, the males among us are faced with a puzzling dilemma in terms of what to wear up top. The collared shirt with rolled up sleeves looks smart, but it's not exactly practical, particularly if you're faithful to the current top-button-done-uptrend. T-shirts get a bit boring and are a tad too casual for some events, while singlets are the domain of body-builders and tradies.

OK everyone, cancel your trips to London. There's no need to spend 24 hours in transit and then the next year eating beans at greasy spoon cafes and rating Page 3 girls in The Sun. Topshop is here. In Sydney. No really, it's finally arrived. And why else would you schlepp all the way to Ol' Blighty when summer's a-coming over here and they're about to experience 4pm sunsets?
Incu are expanding their Paddington store to make room for this fashion behemoth, and they'll be replenishing stock every month.
The safety pin is the indispensable totem of punk. Couriers of the movement, Westwood and MJ, glorified the fastening device by piercing it through ears and kilts. The pin is undeniably smart; symbolically addressing both the disintegration of society - barely strung together by any cohesive cultural regime and all that - not to mention the perishing arse seam of your pants.
Lately I've been having trouble prioritising between the buying of necessary things for my survival (ie food), and making important additions to my floor-drobe. In theory one should be able to budget for both. But in practice, not so much. You want Bernard Wilhelm; you're not eating for the week.
But Incu have taken pity on us and our bare looking floor-drobes, recently ordering in the latest collection from RAF by Raf Simons with pieces that will allow even the most broke-ass fashionistas to ride their way into summer looking good.
From the all-broad performance collective that vibes drag-mash as an instrument, invented Starbucks guerrilla drag, starred in shopping centre performance intervention Darkside of the Mall, and made a cameo appearance at MJWF* (oh yeah, and those things they did for the Musee D'art Moderne, MCA and the Liverpool Biennale), comes the logical next step in live performance - fashion.
We don't usually blow our own trumpet, but the excitement is building for the next Incu Window Project, so here comes the big up...
The Kingpins all-girl collective blend drag, costume and gender mish mash to create wild live performances and installations. Spanning a decade, their dazzling career includes projects at major institutions such as the Musée D'art Moderne, Paris, MCA and the Liverpool Biennale, so we're rather chuffed to have the opportunity to collaborate.
