Miranda July is the later, and Even Books have scooped her up for their seventh celebration. Just a few things this lady has achieved include showing her projects at the Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim Museum and winning the Frank O'Connor International Short Story Award.

Despite her helmet hair, Miranda July has featured in more than 100,000 sexual submission fantasies (according to the ABS). So, of course, when she tells people to do stuff, they get into it in a big way. What stuff? Um, documenting their bald spots, sculpting a bust of Steve, etc.
LEARNING TO LOVE YOU MORE is a web site and series of exhibitions of work made by the general public in response to 'assignments' given by July and her friend Harrell Fletcher.

Anger management classes are a funny thing really. But we suppose you can't argue with a "Restraining Order" - whatever that is. One thing we did learn however, apart from how to get high off your own toenail clippings, is that keeping your expectations as low as possible can be the key to happiness and fulfilment.
