One half of Izrock is obsessed with skateboarding (maybe a bit more than half). This means I am often 'wasting my time' and being 'too old for that', but getting older and still skateboarding is the best. All the pressure and angst you felt as a kid is gone. What remains, is the joy of learning old and daggy tricks that are easier and more rewarding.
Crashing To Earth
Skateboarding - it's not for everyone. It's noisy and painful and something many of us grow out of when we get into the serious business of finding a career, attending art openings and DJ-ing. Thanks to the MTV treatment, skating is no longer an underground activity, and although there are hundreds of public skate parks, they're all swarming with little kids on razor scooters.

Oscar - or Ozzie - could be the ultimate multi-tasker. Best known for mashing skate maneuvers in the surf, as well as for his band Goons of Doom, the guy also paints. His artworks are informed by an interest in 'everything and anything'. Bright and plainly wacked they merge acrylic, texta and spraypaint with an element of assured naivety.
