Now that we've done the asking out, all you need to do is chuck on your most winsome smile, chuck out whatever it was you were debating doing instead, and go.

Firekites
The first time I saw Firekites I arrived uncharacteristically early and caught a support act by the name of Pegs Adams. Can you use the term ‘blown away' in reference to pretty folk music? Maybe it's a rock-specific expression? Point is, she was awesome. When Firekites came on we were putty in the hands of their swooning and crooning caper.

Clue to Kalo
Some albums are a brash collection of songs, smashed out and banged together like a mixed lolly bag. And then you have those like Clue To Kalo's latest, LILY PERDIDA, which is a sprawling ten song epic, each song giving a different musical perspective on the fictional character Lily. Together they blend keyboards, harpsichords and laptops, to weave their electronic folk tale.

Common errors in etiquette include sitting too close to a stranger on the train, laughing garishly at something that was stated in grave seriousness, and lack of body odour maintenance (c'mon - a little spray and go wouldn't go astray). ‘Common Errors' when referring to Sydney band Traps however, is the first single off their debut EP, filled with a jumble of guitars and driven rhythms.
