If you’ve always dreamed of going to Las Vegas, but could never afford it, then Marrickville RSL is the place for you. Even from two blocks away you can see the neon beacon of light calling you in for cheap booze and good times.
Every Friday and Saturday night, the RSL puts on two shows - the most amazing, tacky extravaganza of faux Las Vegas show girls.
The show presents a troupe of terrible dancers performing cabaret acts to the golden oldies and the latest top 40. They back-up the solo strippers who pole dance and gyrate their punanis in your face. It’s kitsch, it’s hilarious and so much fun... Once you’ve been, it’s guaranteed you’ll be back for more. The definite highlight was a sexy stripper dressed as the Terminator who slutted it up to Rammstein.
All walks of life are welcome – old timers, married couples, young groups of howling men… It’s fun for the whole family. There are poker machines galore, a bistro, meat raffles and live sports broadcasts, but the main reason you would come is to see a bevy of boobs.
