Chris Chun is so FRANKIE. The delicately wilting flower petals. The slight, mercurial goldfish. The gently idling butterflies. They all combine to form an achingly pretty aesthetic that’s as soft as floral sheets washed a thousand times; as fresh as your first swim in summer.
Chris fuses the simple beauty of everyday with Chinese symbols of love (butterflies), purity (lotus) and good fortune (goldfish). Needless to say after a quick look at this small but exquisite exhibition you’ll feel the warm glow of good fortune at work already. Bonus.
