If you're wondering what Aleks uses his so-called Ramps for, I'd say its to reach giddy heights of vaudevillian pop and tongue-in-cheek tribal syncopation. Their new album, MIDNIGHT BELIEVER, is magical and twinkling but thankfully not too twee, like Of Montreal, John Steel Singers, or Plastic Palace Alice. But don't believe US, see for yourself.
