Like chivalry and manners, knitting is one of those archaic curiosities at risk of dying out with our grandparents. Although right now in the heat of summer, you might not give a damn, when the chill sets in you'll wish you could tell a Purl stitch from a Slip. If the art of yarn and needles has been lost in your lineage then fear not, there is a new generation of wefters and warpers eager to pass on the baton. Oh and in a nod to today's politically correct climate "boys are welcome as long as they do a craft or something useful". - JG
