Description:
Something OLD. Smudge. Quintessential 90s Sydney indie band. They sound exactly how you think they sound... Probably better, actually. Something NEW. The Laurels. Absolutely gorgeous psych-rock kids, seem a little odd on the indie bill but not at all unappreciated. Something BORROWED. What you may not know is that Tom Morgan, lead singer of Smudge, wrote The Outdoor Type in 94 and graciously let Evan Dando cover it. Something BLUE. Sea Scroll. It's Chris Moller from underground 90s band Midget. Who you may not have heard of if you're 20, but if you're 35 you would remember them sharing the stage with everyone from Babes in Toyland to Fugazi. Respect. - SB
