The eagle has landed, and it's wearing shiny pants. Last Friday, American Apparel opened its Sydney doors, unleashing layer upon layer of evocative cotton, lycra and hoodie.
American Apparel has built a reputation as the ultimate ‘no brand' brand. Quashing the traditional American logofied tee while subversively celebrating the traditional American trailer park.
The new store brings AA's previously cyber-centric range of tees, seal legs, socks and ‘ambiguously ethnic looking' flashers offline. Draped over two levels in Darlinghurst, Gaff to gutter never looked this good.
