A 'selector' wades through the jokes and tricks to find the good stuff, the truth. By avoiding a sterile approach, Selector sincerely examines individuals and places - with the intention of evoking open dialogues and responses.
Selector's founders, Reid Stewart and Michael Carter, are also entwined in Vancouver's Lifetime Collective. Inspired by community, this initative aims to promote the passion and creativity of free thinkers internationally, be they artists, musicians or skateboarders.
Selector issue one has interviews with The Handsome Furs, No Age, video king Paul Wong, and an excerpt from American Hardcore history book, Radio Silence - not to mention visual excellence by Benbo George, Taro Hirano, Leslie David, Vincent Skoglund. And this epic is free.
