We don't usually blow our own trumpet, but the excitement is building for the next Incu Window Project, so here comes the big up...
The Kingpins all-girl collective blend drag, costume and gender mish mash to create wild live performances and installations. Spanning a decade, their dazzling career includes projects at major institutions such as the Musée D'art Moderne, Paris, MCA and the Liverpool Biennale, so we're rather chuffed to have the opportunity to collaborate.
To celebrate the launch of their new fashion label Birthday Suit at Incu, The Kingpins present a window installation adorned with tapestries, embellished garments and film footage of Beth Ditto (The Gossip) rocking out in Birthday Suit. The label, not the actual suit. You know what we mean.
