In the opening article of ANOTHER MAN, biographer Charlotte Chandler recalls talking to Pavarotti on the occasion of his 20th farewell performance. As he watched footage of his life unfold on a giant screen he said, “I’ve had a great life! My only regret is that I didn’t know how it would all turn out. I wish I had worried less and had time to enjoy everything more.”
