‘EATIV' in capitals has to be one of the most difficult combinations of letters imaginable to kern. The spaces between E and A, A and T, T and I, and so on, are all different, leaving different legacies of space to distract from the reading of the word. The craft of subtly adjusting those spaces is an invisible, mundane but crucial part of one design discipline. Similar perhaps to elements of tailoring in fashion or recording in music.

What aggression has to do with it I don't know (it's hard to imaging someone kerning with much aggression... maybe with slack-jawed, zen-like fixation...) Except perhaps that aggression has something in common with the furious endeavor of making things. That making things takes a kind of passionate, single-minded, urgent fury. And even though I don't agree with that, it's a seductive idea and a catchy combination of words.

CREATIVEAGGRESSION sets out to explore how things are made. Some of the content genuinely explicates process (the piece on writer Masha Tupitsyn is particularly good), and some of it remains, well... slightly inexplicable. But you can see in CREATIVEAGGRESSION something that has begun to dig deep and will regularly uncover vital and seldom-explored ideas. It's a train worth jumping on early.
