PARIS, LA is a magazine started by long time Purple contributor Dorothee Perret with a vision to cross oceans by daydreaming about the other side. It's about making the world smaller than it already is, taking pieces of culture from all over and putting them into one publication. It's like a blind person feeling your face to see what you look like - they get to know you even though they can't see you. The content not only reflects the two cities, but everything in between.
The first issue has sold out worldwide. Issue two is on its way. It has epistolary correspondence and phone conversations between friends and neighbours, a Rodarte retrospective, Hedi Slimane, a silkscreen poster and so much more! If you can manage to get your hands on a copy, don't let go.
