In Dickens' The Old Curiosity Shop, the wheels of calamity were set in motion when the protagonist's grandfather borrowed money he couldn't pay back.
Curated by Marsu Homme and a gaggle of the label's way-hip designer and artist friends including Beat Poet, Saint Augustine Academy, Elke Kramer, Matt Weston and Izrock, this new curiosity shop has the goods to cast a whole new generation into financial peril.
Or should that be FURTHER into financial peril?
Either way, goodies such as new and vintage objects, accessories, jewellery, shoes, clocks that go backwards and customised retro hipster glasses are a sample of our next two months' temptations.
Thankfully, specials like two-for-one Marsu Homme shoes means this curiosity shop doesn't have to end in madness and death. Just stay away from malicious, hunchbacked dwarf money lenders.
