Hole-in-the-wall, shit fight, rat's nest - you say that like it's a BAD thing.

True urban spelunkers know, buried amidst the rubble of these kinds of shops, one can find true gold. And on Liverpool Street in the Spanish Quarter sits a dusty treasure trove named Comic Kingdom.

The non-comic inclined needn't worry - there's plenty of other rad stuff here. Old PLAYBOY, stuffed animals, dusty paperbacks, weird LPs, 90210 colouring books, T-shirts, hobby, monster and wrestling mags, old pop culture mags like THE FACE, and heaps of weird collectables and detritus. With much of this selling for dirt cheap, it's a great destination for your $5 limit Kris Kringle.

There's also the expected mainstream comics (new and old), old school stuff by Jack Kirby and Will Eisner gear, and enough Zap, Dan Clowes, Hate, Last Gasp, and DRAWN & QUARTERLY to satiate the alterna/underground connoisseurs. Comic Kingdom - the kind of store that proves comic shops aren't just for socially awkward geeks. They're for misanthropic psychopaths too.
