What is a graniph? First up, it is a T-shirt. It also comes from Japan, it speaks many different languages and has many different faces. Some of them are hand sketched, some of them come from a camera, but all are limited edition and the right price.

In Japan, graniph has 30+ stores dotted from Fukuoka to Tokyo, a gallery, and artists that are busy making tees and distributing works all over the globe.

Graniph Sydney is the first store out of Asia and will be packed with almost every single tee you can get OS. Artists include photographers Jan von Hollenben and Terri Weifenbach, illustrator Mikko Rantanen, mixed media from Eduardo Recife and print heads Lucy Vigrass and Andrew Groves. Duck into the store on opening day and smile sweetly at the staff for a chance to win one of 60 Sydney-only graniph tees. Or better yet, design your own and become part of the graniph family. They're a good looking crowd.
