Fashion is war, yet few contemporary labels go in with a battle plan good enough to win. Nom De Guerre on the other hand is a creative collective that takes cues from fashion, art, and other sub-cultures from their hometown of New York. From the label's beginnings in 2003, this has been their tactic and it seems to be working.
The Fall/Winter 2006 range, which is available exclusively at Our Spot in Darlinghurst, is a refined mix of quality production and winter references from Aleksandr Sokurov's film ‘Povinost' to Stan Brakhages film ‘Dog Star Man' about a man and his dog in the winter wilderness.
Good spring and early summer dressing is about combining light under layers for the warm days with heavier tops for the cold evenings. So if think you might need an outer layer such as striped cardigan, a classic herringbone cotton shirt or an M65 herringbone jacket we recommend you attack Our Spot.
