Too often do we hear, "the line-up was great but if only it wasn't for the fat guy who burped juice on my shoe". Music festivals need not be littered with the unwashed, the trollied, or the tent-ridden gastro patient.
This is why we took the adidas Originals Festival up on their offer and created a musical festival of bits. That's right. We're contesting this whole real-life hoo ha and attending possibly the greatest festival in the land with possibly the lamest title... ALL TWO-MORROW'S PARTIES - A festival without mud. Presented by TwoThousand. Featuring will be Chromeo, Beirut, Battles, Tunng, Patrick Wolf, Yacht, Jutstice and Liars.
If you dislike mud, burping fat men and gastro and prefer dreaming, vote for our festival. All you need to do is go here, vote for us and attend.
Actually, anyone can go onto the adidas Originals Festival site and make their own. You can choose location, line-up (from 200bands), time slots, after party acts and poster design. If your festival ends up with the greatest attendance levels, you will win a trip for two to the 2008 Berlin Festival, including flights and accommodation, plus VIP treatment from VICE, and a shopping trip to the adidas Originals store in Berlin.
