After some rough calculations, I recently established that I spent over $400 on pinball in the past 12 months.
In a sterling effort to exponentially increase that figure, I took myself on a highly enjoyable research tour of Sydney's pinball-playing venues. Here are the fruits of my labour:
"Elvira - Scared Stiff" - Flinders Hotel, Darlinghurst
In my opinion the best all-round game in Sydney. Terror from the Crate!!!
"Johnny Mnemonic" - Windsor Hotel, CBD
Great for nerds, or Keanu Reeves fans.
"Lord of the Rings" - Courthouse, Newtown
Tantalisingly faint possibility of 84x jackpot. Plus it ties with THE SIMPSONS Party Pinball for most epic rule system.
"Addams Family" - Hopetoun Hotel, Surry Hills
A worthy tribute to the life and times of Raul Julia.
"Mars Attacks" - The Clare, Ultimo
Pinpoint accurate scientific simulation of mankind's inevitable downfall.
"Austin Powers" - The Lansdowne, Chippendale
Features a life-size Mini Me. Well...not quite.
Ambience: Indoor
Difficulty: Depends how hard you push it
