If there is a perfect time to smash open a piggy bank, it must be now. Hope Street Markets are back, with more than 60 designers waiting to be blessed with your pennies. With Paddington Town Hall providing a new shelter, separate sections have been delegated for design, fashion, art and music. This gives room for a mini art exhibition as well as a cafe.
Music from local acoustic artists such as Jordy Lane, Kaity Fox, The Falls and Red Ghost and more shall reward the ears of all that enter, and Frankie's cosy lounge section will provide a much needed 'stop, revive, survive' type of environment.
So there should be no "I'm too tired to stick around" kinda 'tude when you're prompted to buy a ticket for the designer raffle, which is raising money for the Hope Street Mission. Not that we're suggesting helping out the homeless this winter isn't reason enough.
