Paris Transatlantic
Music eZines, like MESS+NOISE or PITCHFORK, are great vehicles for promotion (and perhaps hype) if you are an independent artist or label. They have grown to have a real impact on the industry and musicians. Rarely though, do you find an online music magazine that is willing to delve deep while remaining somewhat esoteric in its content.
PARIS TRANSATLANTIC is a music eZine that covers a wide range of genres on the more underground tip; Jazz, Electronica, Improvisation, Post-rock, Experimental/Noise, Contemporary Classical, even Performance Art. The interviews, reviews and feature articles really engage with the musicians and their art, but in a way that caters to both the initiated and the uninitiated. PARIS TRANSATLANTIC serves as a wonderful resource for new ideas and new music.
