It's time again for Semi-Permanent to select some finer design types and drop them straight into Darling Harbour, not to swim, but to confer. After the announcement of the 12th and final speaker via the twit, things have started to get a little exciting.

Now in its seventh year, Semi-Permanent has brought us the likes of Banksy, This Is A Magazine and Ed Templeton. This year's program is just as laudable, with names like Ron English, Kris Moyes, WIRED Magazine and Droga5 on the bill.

The side events are also banging. MTV Gallery will show off Ian Francis (artwork pictured), while WeAreTheImageMakers presents NEW EYES OPEN, group exhibition including the likes of Lister. This means that even we, who can't afford the conference tickets, can enjoy an SP experience.
