In 1997, poet and novelist George Dawes Green and a small circle of friends gathered to spin spellbinding tales on a New York porch - The Moth was born. Word spread of these captivating eves and The Moth moved to larger venues in downtown Manhattan to expand their tale telling fleet.
Contributors share a nakedness of mind as central themes explore the human experience. For reality sandwiches, diverse perspectives and food for thought told by a vast circus of prominent cultural personalities - the odd voodoo priestess, serial monogamist, former pickpocket, chocolate cowboy, NY cop or Rosie O'Donnell - the podcast has arrived.
