Do you love Sydney? Enough to see beauty in the deepest basement at Gilligan's? Do you love it enough to drive to Blacktown or skate like Scott Baio? Can you multi-task like a MacBook Pro and pull entertaining adjectives, (ahem, similes) out of thin air? (Our current favourite is 'cold as a witch's tit').

If you answered 'yes' to the above, you could be the next TwoThousand Deputy Editor.

Under the direction of the TwoThousand Editor, your main role will be to assist in the delivery of high-quality editorial and ensure the smooth production of each issue of TwoThousand. In doing so, you will be required to work two days a week from our office in Darlinghurst and support related events out of hours.

Now here is the serious part.

Potential candidates must have:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Industry experience in copy-writing and editing
- Self motivation in spades
- Ideas, coupled with the ability to think laterally
- The fervor to embrace and grow the publication
- An individual voice (how else do we say this: a personality!)
- (Preferably) An involvement within the wider Sydney creative community

The TwoThousand Deputy Editor's responsibilities include:

- Working closely with the editor to generation content
- Working collaboratively with contributors and internal staff at Right Angle Communication
- Writing on a range of topics each week, to a deadline
- Editing copy to a style sheet
- Managing and operating a CMS system
- Organising and supporting events and connecting TwoThousand within the offline community
- Using software such as Photoshop
- Acting professionally, most of the time
